About Wendy Drummond
Have you ever stopped and asked yourself - Who am I now, and what truly matters?
If you're nodding, you're in the right place.
I'm Wendy Drummond, a counsellor and psychotherapist working exclusively with women navigating the rich, complex, and sometimes overwhelming answer to that very question.
I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the
foundation of everything.
Without trust, warmth, and genuine connection, no technique or framework can do its best work.
That's why I work with only a small number of clients at any one time, because you deserve my complete attention, dedication, and care.
Our work together is led by you.
This is your space, your time, and your journey.
I'm here as your partner and guide, not to tell you how to live, but to walk alongside you as you discover what a deeply meaningful life looks like for you.
Drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based approaches, we explore your values, what truly matters to you and how you want to be in the world.
Together we develop psychological flexibility: the capacity to stay present with difficult thoughts and emotions while taking meaningful steps toward a life that feels genuinely yours.
I take a genuinely holistic view of wellbeing, one that honours the whole person, not just the presenting problem.
With a background in human nutrition, I understand that how we feel emotionally is deeply connected to how we live physically.
In our work together, I may gently explore aspects of your life that many therapists don't consider, like your sleep, your nourishment, your movement, your daily rhythms and habits. Not to prescribe or diagnose, but because these threads are often quietly woven through our emotional experience in ways that matter.
True wellbeing isn't just what happens in a therapy session, it lives in the whole of your life.

My Qualifications
Every conversation is completely confidential. Sessions are telehealth and available across Australia from the privacy and comfort of wherever you feel most at ease.
You are an individual. There is no formula here, no one-size-fits-all approach. Just two people, working together with honesty and care, in service of what matters most to you.
What You Can Expect
With over 30 years of experience across private and not-for-profit health organisations, including extensive work supporting people living with low vision and blindness, I bring to this work something that can't be taught: life experience.
This work deepened my understanding of resilience, identity, loss, and what it truly means to adapt and find meaning when life changes in ways we didn't choose.
That lived experience shapes everything about how I show up for my clients, with empathy, without judgment, and with genuine curiosity about who you are and who you want to become.
